Job Duties

Accepting prescriptions or refill requests from patients and health care professionals and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Delivering quality customer service to patients and medical staff, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to Pharmacist for Medical Information.
Verifying accuracy of Prescriptions and Patient information.
Inputting Patient information, including Demographic, Insurance and Prescription data, filling Prescriptions, counting medications, attaching medication labels, and delivering medications at point of sale or otherwise.
Performing inventory audits, stocking, and purchasing supplies and medication.
Performing 340B audits for both the in-house pharmacy and 340B contract pharmacies.
Perform daily Cleaning, Compliance, and organizational tasks.

Qualifications: Required education and experience

High School Diploma of GED
Licensed Michigan Pharmacy Technician
Ability to operate software, such as EHRs, office email, calendar, and remote meeting functions, internet browsers, and cloud-based platforms required.

Preferred education and experience

High School Diploma
PTCB Certified
340B Experience
Experience with Liberty POS
Inventory Acumen
