About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology for a 13-week contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. The RN will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures in a two-lab procedural environment.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
Support cardiac catheterization, angiography, pacemaker, and other invasive cardiovascular procedures.
Perform specialized patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment throughout procedural care.
Assist with patients requiring IABP insertion and other advanced cardiovascular interventions within demonstrated competency.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary procedural teams.
Requirements
Minimum 2 Years of Recent Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Experience Required.
Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Hawaii RN Licensure Requirements Must Be Met Upon Acceptance and Before Assignment Start.
Current BLS Certification Required.
Experience With Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Procedures, Angiography, Pacemakers, IABP, and Hemodynamic Monitoring Required.
Ability to Work Variable 8- or 10-Hour Day Shifts and Participate in Required Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday Call Rotation.
