Role Description The Senior Field Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Terre Haute, IN. This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing thermal processing and vacuum equipment at customer locations, as well as performing diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. The Senior Field Service Engineer will interact directly with customers to assess service needs, explain technical findings, and recommend improvements or upgrades. The role also involves documenting service activities, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to enhance product reliability and service quality.\n
Qualifications

• Strong field service experience with industrial or thermal processing equipment, including onsite installation, commissioning, and repair.

• Advanced troubleshooting and technical support skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Proficiency in preventive maintenance planning and execution to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

• Relevant technical education (e.g., associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, electronics, or related field) or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in the field.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and comply with safety procedures and regulations.

• Experience in the thermal processing or vacuum equipment industry is highly beneficial.
