Mis Intereses
Un enfoque central de mi búsqueda investiga cómo se genera y mantiene la biodiversidad en el Neotrópico con un énfasis especial en la comprensión del vínculo entre moléculas y fenotipo. Combinando genética molecular y biología de campo, exploro cuestiones evolutivas a nivel de poblaciones (especiación en acción), especies (filogeografía y sistemática) y aplico estos datos a los esfuerzos de conservación (genética de la conservación).
