- Freshwater/Fluvial Protected Areas
- DRYvER: This project will investigate how biodiversity, ecosystem functions, ecosystem services and their values in DRNs are directly and indirectly altered by climate change through empirical and modelling work at relevant spatial and temporal scales. Furthermore, DRYvER will provide knowledge-based strategies and tools for cost-effective adaptive management of DRNs in the EU and worldwide
- Citizen Science in the Basins of the Ecuadorian Andean-Amazon Rivers: Develop community monitoring projects focused on the recovery of environments threatened by anthropogenic pressures and the empowerment of indigenous communities to generate nature-based solutions to common problems of pollution and water use
