Humboldt 250 Congress

The Humboldt 250 International Congress which celebrated the 250^th anniversary of Mr. Alexander von Humboldt’s birth, joined the Special Congress of the International Biogeography Society (IBS) and the 2nd Latin American Congress of Biogeography. The USFQ was the congress venue where 5 workshops, 6 plenary conferences, numerous sessions, symposia with more than 190 oral presentations, and a poster session were held.

More than 250 people attended to the event. It was organized by IBS, San Francisco de Quito University (USFQ), the IKIAM Amazon Regional University and the Latin American Network for the Study of Neotropical Biogeography.
