Interests
My research interests are focused on evolutionary biology, ecology, and conservation. Currently, with numerous collaborators, I am working on three main research lines: systematics and biogeography of Andean birds, ecology of bird parasites, and the use of geographic information systems to propose the creation of new protected areas in Ecuador.
