The position includes seeing patients both in the outpatient office and hospital, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility.The ideal candidate will be a board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.Job Requirements:Bachelor Degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) school.Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.Federal DEA.Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology experience preferredSalary: $120,000/yr. -$160,000/yr.
