Program: Master’s in Integrated Water Management Solutions
Type of Program: Professional
Location: Face-to-face classes will be at the USFQ Quito Campus
Schedule: Face-to-face classes every 15 days (Saturdays from 8.30am to 5.30pm)
Synchronous and asynchronous virtual classes (Monday to Saturday) and occasionally, field
trips on weekends.
The Master´s Degree in Integrated Water Management Solutions is a program designed for professionals who wish to excel and drive integrated water management initiatives. To achieve this, the Master´s program has a hybrid format that combines the expertise of international leaders in teaching, research, and practice in a wide range of disciplines. Through case studies, field trips, and problem-based learning, students acquire tools, skills, and confidence to steer their careers in new directions and lead integrated solutions for water management. The program also focuses on developing participants; critical thinking, teamwork, and effective
communication skills.

  • The master´s program is designed with a multidisciplinary approach, aiming to complement and expand the previous knowledge of participants. Therefore, this program is suitable for individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills.
    This program is targeted at professionals who preferably hold a third or fourth-level degree registered with SENESCYT in the following fields:
  • Biology
  • Biotechnology
  • Ecology
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Geography
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Agricultural and Livestock Production.

Similarly, professional experience of at least one year in any aspect of water management will be taken into account where applicable.
