Comprensión de procesos y efectos del cambio del uso de la tierra en la (eco)hidrología de ecosistemas montañosos a diferentes escalas espaciales y temporales a través del uso de información hidrometeorológica, trazadores ambientales (isotópicos y geoquímicos) en combinación con técnicas de modelación. Intereses específicos: identificación de los caminos del flujo que el agua sigue a través de los sistemas hidrológicos, caracterización de las fuentes de agua que contribuyen a la producción de escorrentía superficial, determinación de cómo la dinámica hidrológica influencia procesos biogeoquímicos. *Representante del Comité de Carrera Temprana de la Asociación Internacional de Ciencias Hidrológicas.
